WTF, Spitzer?

If Eliot Spitzer hadn’t vowed to end corruption in Albany when he stepped into office, and built part of his reputation on taking down two high-end prostitution scandals, this wouldn’t be so wierd/ repulsive/ insulting/ disappointing/ maddening.

He’s married with three daughters. This is all ‘under investigation’, and reported by the NY Times, but could they have used a more fitting picture?

How do the two extremes overlap: ‘trying to uphold a vision of service for the public good’, and paying for the service of a high-priced hooker? Somewhere in the shade of schmuck?

While artists do not need to be good people to do good work, a politician’s ‘work’ is the product of his character.

Spitzer says that he does not believe politics is about individuals, it’s about vision.

Thanks for the clarification, Spitzer. Please let us know the value of ideas and vision. Is it enough for an hour with a 3-diamond hooker?
